Terms of use for the San Rafael guide

Conditions for using SanRafaelAntioquia.com: how current the data is, river safety, third party bookings, copyright and governing law.

Using SanRafaelAntioquia.com means accepting these conditions. There are not many.

Who publishes

It is an independent guide by Julián Durango Gallego, from Sabaneta, Antioquia, Colombia (contacto@juliandurango.com). We do not speak for the San Rafael town hall, the local tourism network, EPM, any swimming spot or hotel, or Booking.com.

Dated information

Bus fares, entry fees at swimming spots, times and amenities come from cited sources checked in October 2026. They change: a flood closes a pool, a spot raises its fee or a company adjusts departures. Confirm with the source before you go.

Rivers and safety

The San Rafael pools are mountain rivers with slippery rocks, deep holes and fast floods after rain. What we publish is general information, not a safety assessment. Each visitor decides whether to get in the water, follows the instructions of owners and lifeguards where there are any, and stays out when the river is running high.

Bookings

Nothing is sold here. If you book from a link, the contract is with Booking.com or the property, under their payment and cancellation terms. More in the affiliate disclosure.

Text and images

The text is our own. Wikimedia Commons photos carry their author and license; images labeled as AI-generated are illustrative and do not show real places in San Rafael. You may quote short passages with a link to the page.

Liability and law

We link to third party sites whose content we do not control. We try to keep the guide accurate and online without guaranteeing it, and to the extent Colombian law allows we are not liable for decisions based on it. The laws of the Republic of Colombia apply.
